There's an X in the sky!

Luke: Mommy, there's an X in the sky.

Me: You're right, there is an X in the sky, neat!

Luke: How did it get there?

Luke (again before I could answer): An airplane made it.

Me: Wow Luke, you are right, an airplane did make it.

Luke: With its engines!

Me: Yes Luke, very good, an airplane made it with its engines!

Luke: No mommy, an airplane made it with its jet engines.

My child is a genius!!!

Wii!

My parents got Jeremy a Wii for Christmas, but they couldn't get actually get one until after the holidays. Carl finally lucked into one at Walmart a couple of weeks ago, so he delivered it when my parents came to visit. Anyway, Luke loves it and even has his own little Mii. Here he is playing tennis with Uncle Carl.

Snow Day!

We finally got a little snow Thursday night. As soon as Luke saw it he yelled, "Oh boy, it's snowing! It's Christmas again! We'll get more presents!" He thinks anytime it snows then it must be Christmas, so I've spent the last couple of days trying to convince him that it can snow at times other than Christmas. Anyway, he enjoyed making a snowman and then destroying it with a shovel. The snow only lasted a few hours into Friday, but we sure made the most of it.
