Look-Alikes?

Everyone always talks about how much Luke looks like Jeremy, which he does...

Only the first picture is of my brother, Carl. Luke still looks just like Jeremy, but he sure looks a lot like Carl, too!

FWANK!

When we took Luke to the basketball coach press conference(s), Jeremy jokingly told Luke that maybe he could meet Frank. Well, Luke has held onto that and every time we go to the University he says he wants to go see "Fwank". We went to the Broyles Center to look around a few days ago and guess who was waiting to use the elevator! Unfortunately, we weren't at a really good angle for a picture and I only had my cellphone, but it's something to keep anyway!

Kidney Test Results

We trekked up to Little Rock Friday for Luke's annual kidney check-up. We went to the Zoo first and Luke had a great time. At his appointment he had to have a test with a catheter; it did not go so well. They used a catheter that was too big and ended up having to go down a size. For the next 4 days every time Luke needed to potty he would scream and cry like he was dying. It was pretty well awful. We generally got a good report. He does still have some kidney reflux, so he will be taking his antibiotics daily for the next 2 years at least, but it is much improved. He also doesn't have to go back to the doctor for 2 years, so maybe by the time we go again, he won't remember what they did to him. If you are curious as to what kidney reflux is you can check out this link http://www.drgreene.com/21_1218.html. Here are some pictures of Luke at the mall and Zoo.

Touch a Truck

The James' were kind enough to give us 4 tickets to Touch a Truck; a fund raised for the Junior League. The event lets kids climb in, on and around all kinds of cars and trucks. They had police, fire, construction vehicles, motorcycles, even a Dale Earnhardt Jr. race car (my favorite - yes I am a Nascar fan). Luke had a great time and Uncle Carl got to come with us since we had an extra ticket. Luke also played in the sprinkler for the first time this year. He had lots of fun doing that, too.
